Ioannis performs lattice Boltzmann simulations on flow of complex fluids in microfluidic channels. This project is in collaboration with Julia Yeomans and Ard Louis.

Oli Dammone

Oli works on the isotropic-nematic interface in colloidal rod suspensions (fd virus). This work is in collaboration with
Dr Pavlik Lettinga of the Research Centre Jülich

Siti Aminah Setu

Min works on flow of complex fluids in microfluidic channels. The flows are visualized by means of confocal microscopy.


Paola Ferrari

Paola looks at the design of novel materials and complex colloidal dispersions for structuring food. This is in collaboration with Krassimir Velikov (Unilever).
